Survive and find other survivors

Last Day on Earth is a free-to-play (F2P) survival game that puts you in the shoes of an apocalyptic survivor. In this action experience from K-MOBILE, you relieve an experience similar to the film I Am Legend. You start in the open wilderness with the clothes on your back and a dog as your loyal companion. Build a shelter, forage for food, and find other survivors–all while protecting yourself from the zombies around you.

Its premise makes Last Day on Earth reminiscent of other zombie-based games like Into the Dead 2: Zombie Survival or UNKILLED - Zombie Games FPS.

A more personal zombie adventures

Most zombie survival games usually have you focusing on a community of survivors right at the start, focusing on the community aspect of strategy and management. Last Day on Earth also lets you eventually find other survivors, yet the game still manages to focus on your original character and your dog–with other characters being your support or for keeping your base affairs in order.

Additionally, the game is friendly for those who would like to keep a free-to-play experience. As a player, you can definitely unlock better materials and rarer resources. This setup gives you enough incentive without the game being too repetitive or too difficult, even for players new to this genre. A challenging point though is that you have multiple meters to fill aside from the standard hit points.

As the game features a wealth of content, all rendered in top-tier graphics, expect it to have high system requirements. Users with lower-end devices will have a hard time playing the game, with others reporting being stuck on the loading screen. As you progress, there are certain random events that remain imbalanced and could easily overwhelm even experienced players. This can be solved with a few more minutes of grinding.

An engaging must-have

Overall, Last Day on Earth is a must-try for mobile players. It boasts some of the best graphics quality available, has an immersive premise, and has a good game progression. If your device can handle its system requirements, get ready for hours of quests, exploration, combat, and upkeep. It has a lot of content, most of which are readily available for players willing to put in the work

PROS

  • Good game progression
  • Enjoyable even for F2P players

CONS

  • Heavy system requirements
  • Imbalanced random events
